Petit Cul de Sac sits at the eastern tip of Saint Barth, between the Grand Cul de Sac bay, Dévé and Toiny.
Its beach is sheltered by two headlands, the water is consistently calm and access is by private road, which makes it one of the least frequented spots on the island: it stays empty even at weekends.
There is a marine sanctuary here, turtles and conch, and natural rock pools to explore along the shoreline.
There are no services and no signage, so it takes a little finding.
The Grand Cul de Sac watersports base is minutes away, Saint Jean a quarter of an hour.
A villa rental in Petit Cul de Sac suits families who want safe water and nobody around.
