Perched above the Petit Cul de Sac pond, steps from the beach of the same name, Villa Bonheur is a deeply personal house, built and decorated by its owner with uncommon attention to detail. Wood sets the tone throughout: stone washbasins, a wooden basin, an outdoor shower tucked beneath banana trees, a four-poster bed, polished concrete in the kitchen. Nothing here is incidental.

The kitchen is anchored by a black Lacanche range and a central island that doubles as a dining counter. The pool is a standout, its blue varnished lava tiles shading toward green, reminiscent of the basins found in St. Barth's oldest homes.
