Villa Bonheur overlooks the Petit Cul de Sac pond, St Barth, with two bedrooms for four guests. Built and decorated by its owner, it is a house of character where wood sets the tone, a few yards from the beach.

The setting and the view

The villa is tucked into a tropical garden planted with palms and flowering shrubs, facing the pond and the bay. Petit Cul de Sac is one of the most private beaches on the island, sheltered by two headlands, with consistently calm water and natural rock pools to explore along the shoreline.

The living spaces

The care taken over materials shows everywhere: stone washbasins, a wooden basin, polished concrete in the kitchen. An outdoor shower is hidden in the shelter of the banana trees. The private pool takes the terrace, in the quiet of the area.

The bedrooms

Both bedrooms are air conditioned and each has its own en suite bathroom and outdoor shower. One of them is furnished with a four poster bed.

Around the villa

Petit Cul de Sac beach is a few minutes on foot. The Grand Cul de Sac watersports base is five minutes away by car, Saint Jean a quarter of an hour.
