Villa Maison Bleue takes the upper floor of a house in Gustavia, St Barth, with three bedrooms for six guests. It looks over the harbor from a veranda that wraps around the apartment.

The setting and the view

The house stands on the quieter side of the harbor, a few minutes on foot from the shops, the restaurants and Shell Beach. The palette is the island's own, crisp whites and soft blues, and the veranda offers shaded corners all round.

The living spaces

The apartment is fully air conditioned. The living areas open onto the veranda, and the front terrace frames the view over the harbor and the movement of the boats. A back patio gives a second outdoor space, more secluded.

The bedrooms

The main bedroom overlooks the harbor and has its own en suite bathroom. The two others are set toward the back and share a bathroom.

That layout suits a family as readily as two couples travelling together.

Around the villa

Gustavia begins at the foot of the house, with its quays, its restaurants and its boutiques. Shell Beach is a few minutes on foot.
