Villa Angel is a contemporary retreat set in Vitet, St Barth, with six bedrooms for twelve guests. The property looks out over Grand Fond bay from the centre east of the island, one of the quietest corners of St Barth.

The setting and the view

Vitet rises to Morne de Vitet, the highest point on the island. The area is lightly built and the villa takes that quiet for itself, with an open view over the wild coast and the hills.

The living spaces

The kitchen is open to the living room, and a covered outdoor lounge carries the house out toward the terrace. The heated pool takes the centre of a wide deck, with a gas barbecue for meals outside and an air conditioned gym fitted with a treadmill and a step machine.

The bedrooms

All six bedrooms have their own en suite bathroom and an outdoor shower. Four sit in the main house, with king beds. The other two occupy separate bungalows near the pool, one of them with its own kitchenette and twin beds that can be joined.

Around the villa

The Grand Cul de Sac lagoon and Lorient beach are about ten minutes away by car, Saint Jean a quarter of an hour. Parking is on the property.
