Villa Caro is perched above Gouverneur, St Barth, with five bedrooms for ten guests. Recently built, it plays elegance through simplicity, with retractable glass walls, natural wood shutters and furniture by well known designers.

The setting and the view

The house looks down over Gouverneur bay, in one of the quietest corners of the island. The openings erase the line between inside and out, and the view runs over the greenery and then out to sea.

The living spaces

The open kitchen, the large living room and the covered dining area follow one another without a break and all give onto the wooden deck. A sound system, satellite television and an air conditioned gym complete the house.

Outside, a heated infinity pool of forty five feet takes the main terrace, with a shaded gazebo, loungers and a barbecue.

The bedrooms

All five bedrooms have a king bed and their own en suite bathroom. Two of them can be split into twin beds, which lets the house work for five couples as well as for a family.

Gouverneur beach is minutes away, as is Gustavia and its harbor.
