Habitation Saint Louis stands above the village of Corossol, St Barth, with four bedrooms for eight guests. The house is built on two levels into the hillside and runs down to the beach on a private path through its tropical garden.

The setting and the view

From the terrace the eye reaches the Caribbean Sea, the fishing village of Corossol and the entrance to Gustavia harbor. The Indonesian style furniture in the living room sets the tone of a calm house, turned outward.

The living spaces

The living room with its sea view opens onto the terrace, separated from the fitted kitchen by a bar. Outside, a pool of thirty by sixteen feet, edged with a wooden deck and loungers, sits on the main level, with a shaded dining area and a gas barbecue.

The bedrooms

All four bedrooms have the sea view and their own en suite bathroom. Two are on the upper level, with king beds and a large private terrace. The other two sit three steps below at pool level and open onto the water; one of them can be split into twin beds.

Around the villa

Corossol beach is reached on foot by the path through the property. Gustavia is a few minutes away by car. The neighboring Petit Saint Louis cottage can be rented with the house to make a five bedroom estate.
