Villa Mathilda overlooks Marigot bay, St Barth, with five bedrooms for ten guests. The lines are clean, the tones neutral, and the wooden deck stretches out toward the sea.

The setting and the view

Marigot is a quiet residential area on the north coast. The villa holds a commanding position above the curve of the bay, and the ocean view is panoramic. The architecture is contemporary, softened by natural materials.

The living spaces

The kitchen is fully equipped and extended by a barbecue. The living areas open onto the terrace, which runs the whole length of the house.

Outside, a heated turquoise Balinese stone pool is surrounded by wide sun decks facing the bay. A gazebo shelters a hammock and an outdoor kitchen, for meals as much as for late afternoons. The terrace also holds a ping pong table and a foosball table. The villa has a fitness room and a dedicated massage room.

The bedrooms

The five bedrooms were laid out with privacy in mind. Four of them have en suite bathrooms.

The second and third bedrooms share a bathroom, which makes a convenient arrangement for a family with children.

Around the villa

The Grand Cul de Sac lagoon and Lorient beach are the closest. Parking is on the property.
