Villa Nureyev faces the ocean in Toiny, St Barth, with four bedrooms for eight guests. The house was the retreat of dancer Rudolf Nureyev, and its decor pays tribute to his love of the arts.

The setting and the view

Toiny is the wild coast of the island, left almost untouched. Built over two levels, the villa opens onto a hundred and eighty degree view of the Caribbean sea. Its boldest gesture is a wide deck that seems to float above the landscape.

The living spaces

The living areas take the main building and open on both sides onto the terrace. Everything is air conditioned.

Outside, the pool and the jacuzzi share the deck with the loungers. A hammam cabana stands on the terrace, and an area is set aside for massages.

The bedrooms

All four bedrooms are air conditioned, with king beds and en suite bathrooms.

Three are in the main building, two of them on either side of the living room and a third on the lower level, laid out as an independent suite with a kitchenette and a sitting area. The fourth takes a separate bungalow, with its own outdoor shower.

Around the villa

The Toiny coast is reached on foot from the property. Lorient and its shops are a few minutes away by car. Parking is on the property.
