Corossol is a fishing village a mile north of Gustavia and one of the most authentic quartiers on Saint Barth.
The painted houses, the wooden doris pulled up on brown sand and the straw weaving the village women still practise give you a sense of what the island was before.
There is no restaurant on the beach, very few visitors, and good snorkeling offshore and near the landing pier.
